US sz. 6.5 .925 sterling silver 1987 Seltmann Weiden plate ring. The scene in this ring is from their Idyllisches Dorflebenring series with artist Christian Luckel. These plates were produced in Germany and highlight idyllic Bavarian life, produced only for 75 firings before the mold was destroyed, only about 564 plates were made in total. This ring features a fine silver shadowbox style and recycled sterling silver bead. This scene on this piece is the hens snacking along the village road. This scene specifically comes from the 'Conntagsaustlug mit der futsche' plate design.
This stone was cut and polished in our garage studio by my husband just outside of Austin, TX.
