US sz. 8.5 .925 sterling silver 1987 Seltmann Weiden plate ring. The scene in this ring is from their Idyllisches Dorflebenring series with artist Christian Luckel. These plates were produced in Germany and highlight idyllic Bavarian life, produced only for 75 firings before the mold was destroyed, only about 564 plates were made in total. This ring features hand stamped fine silver round wire and hand forged beads surrounding a scene of a Bavarian cabin outside of the village under the mountains. This scene specifically comes from the 'CDie Bauernhochzeit' plate design.
This stone was cut and polished in our garage studio by my husband just outside of Austin, TX.
